West Kent International 2012

Sunday August 5th

Indian Riders had a day out at the West Kent VMCC event at the Olde Friars near Aylesford in Kent

Sun shone and rain rained??

Indian Riders allotted patch was the biggest we’ve had.  There were 13 Indians and a few Harleys thrown in.   All years were represented from Cliff’s Power Plus to Carl’s Brave.

It was not all greasy old men there either; some bought their lovely wives (they were not greasy).  It’s always nice to have them, when visitors come to our stand their wives seem to feel at ease and therefore want to chat.

Can I be permitted to say that one reason that our “Indian Riders Club” is so good is because of the girls that organise everything.  So well done ladies.

There were some new faces and maybe new members.  Sad that some club members were not able to make it, we missed you and hope all is well.

The auto jumble was OK and many of us bought some more rubbish (it’s a man thing!).  Some deals were done between us and that’s one of the benefits of being in the club.

I thank all those that helped me to pack my bikes onto the trailer and dismantle the Tepee.
